Integrity – the quality of possessing and steadfastly adhering to high moral principles or professional standards: “Come, ye children, hearken unto me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Psalm 34:11 (KJV )

Living a life of integrity is the result of submitting ones will and personal expectations to the fear of our Lord Jesus Christ. To purpose in our minds to be a moral person is not enough for others to identify us as a person of integrity. We are taught that as long as we are good people and honest most of the time God will understand that we are only human.   As an individual who claims the title of being a Christian, (a follower of Jesus Christ) we should come to the realization that to be an example of integrity takes personal sacrifice. Some of these sacrifices are easier than others to accept. For instance, once we accept Christ as our Lord and Savior we cannot blatantly lie to someone. Christ kept his moral principles in every situation even though he did have days when he was challenged by religious beliefs of others. He expects no less from any of his followers.
